Today is July 6, a very significant date. Yes, tomorrow will mark Brooks' 37th week of pregnancy, which is technically considered 'full term' for a twins pregnancy. What a great milestone to hit and we couldn't be more thankful. But that is not the significance I am referring to.Exactly one year ago today we closed on our house in Charlotte and officially ended a seven-year chapter in Atlanta. We spent almost four years in our house at 3027 Westminster Circle (or WestMINISTER Circle as was often labeled on our mail)
and compiled an endless amount of memories. Where do I begin, or end? There was the time Simba tried to make love to our DirecTV technician as he was perched on his hands and knees drilling a hole in our den floor. There was Mrs. Sauers' pool across the street, which provided a welcome relief to the miserable summer heat. There were great friends on the street, who were so supportive in times of need. There were numerous supper clubs, which more appropriately should have been called breakfast clubs for as late as they seemed to end. And then there was Larry the yardman, who was so distraught upon learning that Brooks and I were moving to Charlotte that he offered to move with us (his defining legacy will always be the time he knocked on our door and asked for his Christmas bonus almost a month before Christmas).

But despite all of these wonderful memories, Brooks and I couldn't be happier to be in Charlotte, just minutes away from my family and a short trek down I-85 from her parents. How special it will be for our twins to have their grandparents so prevelant in their lives. Not to mention all of the 'free' child care ;o)
